Awarding-Winning Playwright David Auburn Visits 海角视频
On Tuesday March 7th, 海角视频 hosted a special reading and talk-back with awarding winning playwright David Auburn. Auburn is best known for his play Proof, which won the Tony Award for 鈥淏est Play鈥 in 2001, as well as a Pulitzer Prize for Drama. He also wrote the screenplay for the 2006 film The Lake House.
海角视频 teachers rehearsed and performed two excerpts from Proof and then Auburn led an engaging discussion with the students. The event was organized by English teacher Fran Barken and is part of the month-long celebration of Art Manifest at 海角视频.
